Lots of new machines and also the Luis Raye restaurant has reopened and it is huge and decorated sharply and has a large outdoor seating area. The inside of the casino has a new non-smoking area that has 300+ machines by itself and the new bar lounge is great looking. I would never rent one as that I was able to sit in the sun as well as find shade and the one pool that is located where the majority of the cabanas are is there for anyone. You can rent a cabana for a 1/2 day that has seating, TV, and a fan. One of the hot tubs is located right next to the bar/restaurant. Now outside is a great place to breakfast as well. The pool bar has a totally new look and the menu is great. You can come down here anytime and get a good area to either sun or get shade. The pools are fantastic and there are plenty of lounge chairs to go around. I have 8 grandkids that I love but I love having adult time where I can swim and relax without the screaming and the splashing. You must be 21 years old to use the pool. They have built 5 new pools and 2 jacuzzies and the best part is that it is not like a kiddie pool anymore. We like to spend time at the pools before we hit the dine and then go onto gambling. Pala Casino Resort & Spa recently under went a remodeling and the results are amazing.
